The Last Day 2008.08.01

After so many days, weeks, months shooting, we're finding ourselves at the end of the process. Today is the last day shooting. It's on a set, with a blue screen on the background and I'll be "flying" with my "winged" horse (have to say the wings and the background will be added later. But the horse is real!).
This is sad, seeing it is the end of the filming. I knew this day would arrive someday, but I still remember so clearly my first day shooting in Sossusvlei...

Michael's Last Day 2008.07.30

Today is my last day, and that makes me sad because being in The Magic Tale has been a great experience. I've met so many people and I've traveled to so many places... But also I have to say I'm homesick, so I also feel happy for returning to Namibia.

Hospital de Sant Pau 2008.07.28

The shooting today basically consists on going up and down the hospital. Eva and I are supposed to be visiting someone at the hospital and today we shoot how we enter the hospital and how we enter and exit the room of the patient. So we walk up and down all day long. And today we have a lot of people more, extras playing doctors, nurses, visitors and patients.

A Normal Fairy 2008.07.22

I play the Fairy for The Magic Tale. I had no idea it would take more than 3 hours to get my fairy make up, dress and wings in place... Hm, next time I have to play a magical creature, I'll think it twice. I'm amazed at how nice Eva is and how well she can stand the long shooting hours of making a film. I was 16 when I did my first film and I promised I would not do another one, because it was too boring. But look at me now.
